Patent translation into Korean

Mechanical & electrical only

# Big Law quality translation. One flat fee, delivered in 24 hours.

A translation pipeline designed by patent attorneys translates claims, body text, tables and drawing labels with consistent terminology and verifies the result. Your firm's glossary and translation instructions are applied strictly.

Order now Flat fee vs per-word

## How it works

01

### Order and send the file

Pay the flat fee, then reply to the confirmation email with the specification (DOCX or PDF) and any glossary or prior Korean filing.

02

### Attorney-trained AI

Claims are translated first, independent claims before dependents, and the agreed terms are locked. The body follows the confirmed claim language.

03

### Attorney check or review

On the $200 plan attorneys check completeness, terminology, formatting and claim dependencies. On the $900 plan an attorney reviews and finalizes the claims against KIPO practice and the AI revises the full specification to match.

04

### Delivery

A Korean DOCX with tables, equations and drawing text rebuilt in place, plus a term table. Delivery dates are stated before you pay.

How it actually works

## We read the source while we translate it. Then we deliver the same day.

Source defects flagged

### Errors in your source come back as amendment suggestions

Translating a specification is the closest reading it will ever get. Missing claim numbers, duplicated terms, typos and mismatched reference signs are flagged during translation and returned as a short amendment memo before you file.

Speed

### Ordered at 3 pm, delivered that night

A recent medical-AI specification arrived by email at 3:53 pm and the final file went out at 9:56 pm the same day. We promise a draft within 24 hours; most jobs are faster.

Flat fee

### One price, whatever the length

A 6,000-word specification and a 19,000-word one cost the same. Per-word pricing makes long documents unpredictable. Only documents beyond the flat-fee range (about 20,000 English words) are quoted separately, before we start.

Not a prompt. A pipeline.

## The rules of patent translation run in software we built ourselves, trained and reviewed by dozens of patent attorneys.

Architecture

### Our own software architecture, not a prompt in a chat window

Claim-first ordering, terminology control, table and drawing handling and final validation run as separate stages of a pipeline our attorneys designed and built. The language model is one component inside it, not the product.

Terminology

### One term, one translation, across the whole document

The two rules that decide a patent translation, consistent terminology and the terms actually used in Korean patent practice for each field, are handled by the architecture rather than left to the model. Your glossary is applied before our defaults.

Attorney-trained

### Dozens of patent attorneys reviewed the output and trained the AI

The pipeline learned from attorney translations and was corrected case by case by dozens of patent attorneys who reviewed what it produced. An attorney still checks every delivery.

Translation delivered within 24 hours of receiving your file. A recent specification arrived at 3:53 pm and went out at 9:56 pm the same day.

What text-only tools lose

## Tables, equations and drawing text come through intact.

**Tables**
Translated cell by cell and rebuilt with the original grid and merged ranges.

**Equations and symbols**
Formulas and variable symbols embedded as images are kept in place; variable names are translated where needed.

**Drawing text**
Labels inside the drawings are read and delivered as a source–Korean correspondence table your draftsperson can use directly.

Flat fee vs per-word

## What a 12,000-word specification costs

| Provider or source | Published basis | 12,000 words |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Patent translation market range, 2025 1 | $0.12–0.30 per word | $1,440–3,600 |
| Asian language pairs (EN↔JA/KO), 2026 aggregate 2 | $0.15–0.40 per word | $1,800–4,800 |
| Technology patent translation, agency 3 | $0.18–0.30 per word | $2,160–3,600 |

## Questions

### How fast is it really?

A recent specification arrived at 3:53 pm and was delivered at 9:56 pm the same day. Our stated delivery (24 hours or 7 business days by plan) is a ceiling, not an average.

### How do I send the file?

After payment you receive an order confirmation. Reply to it with the specification and any glossary or related Korean filing. We confirm receipt within one business day.

### Can you match our firm’s terminology?

Yes. Send your glossary or a previous Korean translation and it takes priority over our defaults.

### Do you provide a certificate of translation?

Yes, on request, signed by the reviewing attorney.

### How do you invoice?

Payment is by card through Stripe, in US dollars. Card checkout is being activated; until it is live, an attorney sends you a secure payment link or an invoice. A formal invoice is available on request.
